Support for Student Therapists

I also offer personal counselling for student therapists who are required to engage in therapy as part of their training. This provides a supportive, reflective space where you can explore your own process, deepen your self‑awareness, and strengthen your therapeutic presence.

If you’re currently in training and would like to know more, please feel free to get in touch for further information.

Counselling for Children and Young People

I offer one‑to‑one counselling for young people aged 10 and above, providing a safe, calm, and non‑judgemental space where they can talk openly about whatever is on their mind. The transition from childhood to adulthood can be intense and overwhelming, filled with emotional, social, and personal challenges.

Counselling gives young people the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings with someone who listens, understands, and supports them without judgement. Through gentle guidance and open conversation, I help them make sense of their experiences, build confidence, and develop healthy ways of coping with the issues they face.

Welcome to Blossom Tree Therapy. I’m Sarah Legg, a therapist based in Allestree, Derby, where I live with my family. My practice room offers a calm, supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

I am a warm, caring person with a deep passion for life and all the experiences it brings — the joyful moments as well as the challenges. My work is driven by a genuine desire to support people as they navigate difficulties and discover their own strength and resilience.

Counselling — sometimes known as talking therapy — is a powerful and supportive process, and often far less daunting than people imagine. At its heart, it’s about building a trusting relationship where you can speak openly and honestly. Together, we explore whatever challenges you’re facing, helping you move toward the outcomes and changes that feel right for you.

As a counsellor, I offer a safe, confidential, and non‑judgemental space where you can reflect, grow, and understand yourself more deeply. My role is to walk alongside you, supporting you as you explore your experiences, develop new insights, and find ways forward that feel authentic and empowering.
